Norms’ award winning gardens, stretching over two and a half acres, are a delight to wander and relax through. From massive ancient date palms to bonsais and exotic fruit trees, there will be something to impress and amaze you.

Norm has been developing the gardens for over 26 years and like most gardening projects, they have changed many times over the years.

One of the first major projects was the transplantation of three magnificent century old date palms from Norm’s family farm at Cummins. Each palm weighed over 5 tonnes and had to be trucked over 70km to their current location at Modra’s Apartments. Standing tall and proud they now are the centre pieces of Norms master plan.

Norm single handedly collected all the moss covered granite rocks from a local farm 20 km south of Tumby Bay near Louth Bay. Estimated at over 25 tonnes of rocks were hand picked and meticulously positioned to create the driveways and garden beds around the apartments.

For the green fingers that stay with us, norm is happy to discuss some of his work and more exotic and rare species he has collected over the years.
