Getting here by Car!

Tumby Bay is only 30 minutes driving time north of Port Lincoln, and an easy drive just 600km (6 hours driving time) from Adelaide via Port Augusta and Whyalla.

Getting here by Ferry!

Sea SA operate a modern and sophisticated vehicle and passenger ferry with transfers between Yorke Peninsula and Eyre Peninsula.
Cross the Spencer Gulf in just over 2 hours between Wallaroo on the Yorke Peninsula and Lucky Bay on the Eyre Peninsula save several hours driving time and petrol.

It is a great experience and well worth the trip at least one way.

The Ferry is not currently operating and is scheduled to recommence in Dec 2010.

Getting here by Plane!

The Port Lincoln airport is just 20 minutes driving time from Tumby Bay, and it is the second busiest airport in South Australia with over 148,435 passengers in 2008/09.

The flight from Adelaide is just 45 minutes with 2 airlines operating regular daily flights. Region Express currently fly up to 10 flights per day and QantasLink operates up to 23 flights per week. Both airlines have regular specials from $55 each way. See their websites for current special offers.

Car Hire is available from Ceduna Car Rental (Port Lincoln) Avis, Budget and Hertz. Pre book to arrange to have the car collected from the airport.

Please note the Ferry is not currently running. It is due to open late in 2010.

For more information, click on the SeaSA logo at the bottom of the page.
